I got the WeatherTech TechShade for my '17 Silverado CC. It fits perfectly in the front window without the need for the visor or anything else to prop it up.

 

Yeah the WT ones are custom fit and you don't need to use the sunvisors. You can just buy the front windshield one or you can get an entire kit that covers all the windows. They are reversible (silver on one side to reflect heat in the summer and black on the other to absorb it in the winter).

 

The only thing is if you get the full kit that includes the side windows and you have vent visors installed you can't leave the windows cracked (the side sun shades will block the airflow).
