GM Sunshade with Chevy Logo (22987432)

Hey All,

Just got this sunshade as where I park it takes a lot of beating from the sun. Is there a technique in putting up these sunshades? This one in particular is quite heavy for a sunshade. How do I keep it up? Do i wedge it in the headliner and bottom of dash? Anyone with one of these?

Thanks

Exactly. I haven't actually seen any sunshades that do not require the visors but that would be pretty nifty! Putting my visors all the way down knocks my radar detector ever so slightly...

off topic but I am going to be visiting Belize early next year. Anything I absolutely can't miss?

Thanks man, San Pedro Ambergris Caye, Blue Hole for snorkeling and diving, Cayo for Sight seeing and any of the Maya Ruins. You can PM me your addy and I'd be happy to recommend some other places.

Your sun visors hold it up., you need to put your visors all the way down.

Thanks, I feel like a moron, never thought of the obvious. Never used a sunshade ever but my High Country is my first premium truck ever, so it needs some love.

Mine doesn't

I had never used a shade before bought a collapsible one from amazon and it doesn't really need the visors down to stay in place. Works pretty well.

If I'm leaving it for several hours I put visors down a bit to wedge more blackout around it

I have a Weathertech one for mine, don't need the visors down at all,it fits nice and tight.

I've seen a couple of those here. Those have the metal holding its shape correct? I'll try the visors down on mine.

I got the WeatherTech TechShade for my '17 Silverado CC. It fits perfectly in the front window without the need for the visor or anything else to prop it up.

Yep. Super lightweight and folds into 10 diameter circle. Fits in pocket on passenger seat perfect. Bought it for the Sierra and now it's doing time in the Silverado.

I got a set of the $15 collapsible ones from Walmart like 5 years ago for my last vhicle and they work great in my Silveraydo too.
