Bluetooth Not Auto Going to Next Song

Hi All! I have recently purchased a 2014 CPO GMC Sierra Z71. Man I love this truck. Coming from a car it is a whole new world and I am loving it all. I do have one gripe that I hope maybe there is a setting that I do not know about (or cannot find). When I connect my phone and switch over to media to play my music it works fine, for one song, then I have to hit the play button on my telephone again to strike the music back up. Anyone know a fix for this? Thank you so much and this forum has been a wealth of knowledge thus far. I look forward to being able to contribute in the near future.

Start the music app in your phone first.

Either create a playlist or hit shuffle.
