Rear Differential Cover

I just bought one from Rock Auto, it is a $10 stamped piece of aluminum, no fins like the pic and no where near as deep a bowl. They left out tons of material compared to the OEM and it should be a lot more being softer. It's a joke and will not even come out of its package. I think the mag tech looks the best, any OEM in Alum? I have the 14 bolt 10.5 ring. Oh, and it was made in China, like a carnival prize.

Oh...it gets better, I just started packaging it to go back, it feels heavy so I grab a magnet.......sticks like a darn magnet...it's steel, not Alum. Now I am pissed.

Buy four struts and magically one is odd ball out? Other people I talk to have same issues with Rock it's China shit at it's finest! Yeah...My struts were all made by manufacture to spec but ONE was pretty shittly looking?

 

Anyway, I have a G2 for your exact truck but have not put it on yet. It's very nice and high quality! Only thing is it does not have the O-Ring seal they mill it flat and send you a decent reusable gasket like OEM.

I did a magtec to replace a rusted cover on my Avalache 2500 which had a 10 inch rear. was sweet. $ 140 ouch.
