aftermarket trans. filter vs Mr Goodwrench

I went to advanced auto (discount auto in so Fla.) and purchased a tranny filter kit for my '01 Yukon (deep pan). It is a "house brand name" for advanced auto but has printed on the box manufactured by FRAM and states "meets OR exceedes O.E.M. specifications. It includes a rubber pan gasket.

All for the Low Cost Of $ 10.00

Looking at this filter there are several questions I have as I have not seen a O.E.M. filter as yet from GM for the 'Kon.

are the Gm, A/C delco filters all plastic housing on the back side with metal on the face ?

Onle other metal I see is the metal ring on the suction tube that goes into the pump housing.

The filter element looks like any other trans. filter element I have seen before. It's just I have not seen this much plastic on a Tranny filter before.

And one other question, How does this filter stay in place ? There are no bolt holes.

I plan on doing a change out this weekend and don't want to be suprised.

On the box or instructions of many aftermarket trans. filters, they say to replace at like every 15,000 or 20,000 miles, not sure if GM one is like that or not?

The OE filter, and any AC/Delco replacements, are made by SPX Filtran. I do not know who else buys from them. Their website shows comparisons on filtration. I have no allegance to GM/AC but there is NO better filter. It's worth $23 list to only change every 50,000 miles! :)
