2014 GMC Sierra 1500 lower ball joint failure

So I bought this used 2014 GMC Sierra 1500 (85,000km) at the end of February this year and have put roughly 8000km on it (all highway)and when I went to back into my driveway today the lower ball joint on the drivers side sheared off. Now I'm just wondering if this would fall under warranty or if I could pin this on the dealer that claimed there was nothing wrong with the vehicle when I bought it. Either way I'm glad it didn't shear off while I was on the highway driving 110 km/hr and did it at very low speed instead. Any input is appreciated!

Lifted / leveled? Either way it sounds like it's all on you. Rock auto for parts.

I doubt this would be covered by any sort of warranty (especially if leveled or lifted) but it is easy to phone and ask. The selling dealer may offer you a discounted price as a courtesy.

But there wasn't anything wrong with the vehicle when you bought it, it sheared off after you bought it.
