Need More Passing Power!

My 03 1500 Z71 has a 4.8 V8 and needs some mods. I mainly need more passing power and straight acceleration, but don't know where to start. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks a lot.

Start with the basics, intake, exhaust, and programmer. Or add a 100 shot of nO2 for those passing momments.

Do a little research on the Wester's PCM.. a lot of people are going that way now and i have yet to see anyone not happy with it..

I have cat-back exhaust and new intake and the Westers will be coming when I get the $$$$!

All of the basics that have been mentioned can be done to the 4.8 (induction, exhaust and programming). 1.85 rockers have also been popular and will add about 15hp (similar to a mild cam change). If your looking for alot of passing power we'll be installing a Radix supercharger along with a head/cam package on a local customer's 4.8 later this week. That will make a huge difference in this truck.
