I posted a thread over in the Northeast section for my service (now have Verizon). I'm now curious what you guys are using for phones. I currently have an LG VX10. Never heard of LG before, found out they are owned by Goldstar.

I have 15 days to try this phone, if I don't like it I can return it and get another one.

Question: What phones do you guys use? How would you rate it? Would you recommend it to someone else? Anyone have any inside info on who's best?

Funny you mention an LG,I happen to have one through Sprint right now.

I had never heard of the company but decided to give them a shot because I liked the phone and from what I've found in the first 5 months is that it has a lot of nice features and gets better reception than the Samsung it replaced.

I actually have an AudioVox CDM-9000 which is over 2 years old. I went to my local Verizon store to see about a new phone, and they talked me out of it... They said the phone I have is one of the best phones ever made and it is actually made by Toshiba.

So... they took it into the backroom and updated all the programming and gave it back to me and said use it until it self destructs (which may be never)...

Went from a Nokia owned them all and Nokia is by far the best... Last 3 or 4 phones I had were motorola V60 and they just didn't last. Had the service plan on them so I got them replaced for free.

Well All Cell Phone's Stink. They all die. But out of all I have had Nokia is the best and they stand behind there stuff. Also seem to get better battery life than the others. Right now I have a Motorolla V90 and it isn't bad. But not a lot of features and the battery SINKS. 1 day MAX!!. That is no good. My old Nokia 3390 Gold is still used as my alarmclock. The battery lasts as just stand by for a week or two. Not bad. I have heard that LG is the new Qualcom company. Qualcom was a really good phone. The thing that stinks about Nokia is that they are not available from Verizon. At least not in my area.

I have always had good luck with my Nokias. Right now I have a 3360 and it has been under water and dropped a bunch and still going strong. My only problem is Cingular wireless. A lot of times people call me and it just goes straight to my answer machine, even when I have my phone on, it just never rings. We are switchin providers to Nextel when my contract runs out. My mom works for the city and they have been using nextel for a while with good luck. Plus they gave her the expensive Motorola i95 and the Nextel Blackberry thing. I havent decided yet if I am going to get a Motorola i90 or i88. Hopefully they work out for me.
