2014 GMC Sierra Intellilink audio

Would play various things from my iPad over the Bluetooth audio with no issues. That us, until recently.

 

Had a movie playing for my son on the iPad as i dropped him off at college from a short trip we took. Hit pause on the movie and turned the truck off. 

 

After helping him unload, I came back to the truck and and hit play again. Now I got no sound. It plays on the iPad. The iPad it itself doesn't play because the truck Bluetooth has taken over, but I get no sound.

 

I've tried with youtube. I've tried deleting in both and repairing. It no longer plays audio. My phone still comes across (android). The iPad connects and I get an X if I want to disconnect. But I no longer see the check mark next to it like I do the phone and used to see on the iPad. 

 

Someone please tell me this is an easy fix and I'm just an idiot for missing something simple.

Try hitting the cancel phone call button on the right steering wheel control area. This seems to fix my issues when my radio is having a brain fart.
