2017 Silverado Fog Lights

Has anyone found a way to upgrade the stock LED fog lights on their truck? I looked under my truck to see how easy it would be and appears to be 3 separate LED’s inside housing.

Not many options with the new fog light shape built into the bumper. The cube type leds won’t fit without significant modification.

I don't know what LED's they use, but the nichia leds are super bright.  It would involve some opening and soldering, but anything is possible.

Just my perspective, but modern sharp cutoff HID, LED, or even halogen headlights have about eliminated the need for “fog lights”.  

 

If you want high powered driving lights,  find dedicated driving lights that have the beam pattern and output you need.  Leave the OEM fogs for DRLs or profiling.  There are many quality choices for driving lights.
