Escalade Cluster

I just installed the white face Escalade cluster in my 2000 Chevy 1500. The swap was easy and looks great, except at night the Speedo lights seem dimmer than the rest. Anyone else have this problem? Can the bulbs be changed out in these?

Another note, this guage cluster also has clear needles that can be a little hard to see during the day agains the white background. I'm thinking of going over the needles with something like an orange highlighter marker. This way I can see them in the day and they will still illuminate at night. Any comments on this?

Other than these 2 issues, the guages are great! The look sharp especially since my truck has White exterior and Black interior. The trans temp guage worked as advertised. This is the big reason I bought them since I tow a 5000#+ travel trailer.

I'm thinking about getting this and installing on my 00 Yukon. How much did you pay, if you don't mind me asking, and where did you get it? How hard was the install, and what tools will I need? Also, can you post some pics?

I got mine from JP Customs (link is on this website). It was $335 with shipping.

Installation was a snap. First you pull off the outer dash panel with your hands. There are four 7mm screws that hold the cluster in and one wire bundle to unclip.

It took me approx 15 minutes start to finish.

I don't really have the ability to post pictures on here yet.
