November GTG/Cruise 11/02/03

The Nascar Checker Auto Parts 500 is held every year at Phoenix International Raceway in Phoenix.

Hillside tickets are only $35.00 a person. The hillside overlooks the whole track from the outside of turns 3 and 4.

Children prices are available. Check the PIR site for details.

 

In the past I have been getting 12-20 family and friends together from in state & out of state for this race. Since there are 32 Arizona Avalanche members I thought to make it an Avalanche GTG/Cruise this year. We would like to meet you and have you join us. Bring the whole family. I know several from the azavs club are going.

 

The morning of the race a few people go to the track early and setup covers (stake our claim) on the hillside for all of us in our group to watch the race from. Lawn chairs, maybe a blanket, coolers and picnic lunches are suggested. We use two wheelers and wagons to tote the heavy stuff from our vehicles to the hillside.

 

The date is set for 11/02/03. We will meet at my house at 7am.

I live in Phoenix Arizona near South Mountain.

A map to my house will be available, as the date gets closer.

It’s too early to decide what to bring to the BBQ.
