removed emblems-need help w/ remaining dirt

I just removed the emblems on my 2000 Blazer and now the dirt that was around the emblems is being stubborn. Any ideas as to how to remove it? Will a clay bar do the trick? Thanks

I used rubbing alcohol....but Ididn't have to much dirt either

I removed the stealership tag on mine and got the sticky stuff and dirt off with some stuff called Goo-Gone. My dad had it at his house but I think it can be found at either a parts house or even Home Depot.

I'd second the goo gone. The clay bar might help, but I'd be a little scared of using it with a lot of dirt in one spot.

Fishing line, and some 3m spray in a can that removes sticky crap.
