Yes my OCD is about to make my head explode... the white piece he removed in the video is there for several reasons, thermal insulation,pin/connector alignment to name a couple, but my biggest objection to his method is the "bare hands" touching the bulbs. The oil from his hands on the bulb will drastically shorten bulb life. Just my $0.02
