2005 Silverado Question

Hello

I recently got a 2005 silverado for a work truck

It does not have a center arm rest. What are my options for adding in an arm rest without having to remove the other seats to install it

 

If that is my only option. Can someone please guide me in the direction of a cheap one?

 

Also, anyone who is familiar with sound systems. What cheap pair of speakers that would be good for this truck. I have a replacement deck but the speakers are stuck and id like to slightly upgrade them

You can either purchase one that folds. Which cost an arm and a leg. Or what I was going to do with the one we had, is I was going to cut the solid bars that hold it up. And weld hinges to them. But I never got around to doing it.

 

 

For speakers, 6 1/2 in front and 4x6 in rear. At least that’s what it was for my ex cab.

I just put 4 new 6.5” boss speakers from Walmart in my 2005 crew cab. Pretty easy swap once you figure out how to remove the door panels. They aren’t anything fancy but sound 5x better than the old ones.
