Escalade Wheels

Hey all! Well as you could tell from my previous thread, I am (was) in the process of purchasing some new meats. Then... looking around on Ebay, I found some really decent deals! I wanted a little bigger wheels on my truck but didn't want to spend a whole lot of green. But then I came across some 17" Escalade wheels that I liked the looks of. They weren't chromed or anything like that, just the alloy stock Escalade wheels.

The guy was selling them for $225 and said there was less than 150 miles on 'em. Apparently he upgraded to what I didn't want to spend the $$ for... 20's :wtf:

Anyway, I sealed the deal today and am waiting arrival. They came without tires (which is what I wanted) because all the other types came with Goodyear Wrangler HP's which had bad reviews on tirerack. I decided to wrap them in some 265/70/R17 SL A/T Dueler's Revo's from tirerack.com They were $123 apiece which I thought was a decent deal and I have always had excellent service from them in the past.

To get rid of that Cadillac symbol, I purchased some plain center caps with black bowtie decals. I'm really hoping this is going to fit ok and look as good as I picture it in my mind!

So tell me, what do you guys think? Think it will look good with the new tires and wheels? I'm hoping everything will fit ok and it will look as good as I hope for.

:wtf: Worried Ken :wtf:

I have the Chrome Escalade rims and Goodyear HP on my '01 Yukon and I must say it looks real sharp.

I purchased the Yukon Used with the wheel package. The previous owner had custom rims and tires on the Yukon and pulled them off to put on his new Escalade. He put the Factory Escalade wheel package on the Yukon. Pulled off the Caddy cenetr caps and replaced with a aftermarket to remove the caddy emblem.

There are tons of escalade wheels around at dealers that sell aftermarket wheels tires . As it seems that the Escalade is the top choice to put custom wheels on.

At least in South Florida, I never see a Escalade with factory rims on it.

fmjcafe - Those look real sharp! :wtf:

Are those the alloy rims? They look pretty shiny and I couldn't tell if there were the "satin" or the chrome finish.

But seeing that, I'm excited about getting them next week and puttin 'em on. I'll post pics once I get her all done and waxed up nice. We have had nothing but rain in the Northeast for the last month. Floods out the ying-yang.

I did the same thing to my 2000 Z-71. I got the Escalade wheels (satin) and the Goodyear HP's for $500 off E-bay. So far, I like 'em! Much better riding than the stock Firestones, plus not everybody has them. I think they look clean!

Well if that isn't enough to make a guy want to go out and get some rims I don't know what is.......

Looks sharp man :thumbs::jester:

Ebay is awesome. I got these puppies for $1200 complete with brand new tires (still had the nobbies on them). That's $300 each. The tires new are about $170-$190 installed at any place around here! I didn't ask where the seller got them from :P
