I ditched the 16" factory alloy`s in favor of a set of 17" Escalade rims and mounted P265/70R17 Bridgestone Dueler HP`s. It did a couple things that I wanted (besides saving money). The rear wheel wells now are filled a bit more then with the 16" rims and tires and I now have a tire with some stick to it. The first thing I did was head for a curve where the rear end tended to step out and she stuck real good. :wtf:

Oh about the pic. For some reason I can`t get it to post so I had to go with a link.

All right Speedy...How did you do that? I tried posting the pic from my earthlink webspace where it`s hosted but the forum software wouldn`t let me. I got an error message about not allowing dynamic sites with img tags or some such.

I just right clicked on the pic that you gave the link to. Put the properties in the IMG thingy. And wala.

Now that you have Caddy wheels, how about a Caddy front clip? :wtf:

On this rig, I think the Chevy clip would look better than the Caddy clip. But that's just my opinion.

fmjcafe - I've got a question for ya. I really like the look of these on your truck and checked out ebay and there are a lot of sets on there. On one of the auctions the seller said that the center caps that come on the factory Chevy alloys will fit on these rims. Can you verify this? Do they match (finish)? Just wondering.

Thanks Speedy. That was the tip I was looking for.

I don`t believe the Chevy center caps will fit. The Caddy centers snap in and the Chevy ones screw in place with those fake lug nuts. The rims on Ebay should come with the factory center caps. If not there are people selling them. Do a search for Escalade center caps.
