Voodoo in the electrical?

Hello, new member here, have a 2012 Sierra 1500 crew cab, 160,000 kms, last month had an issue while driving, all my gauges reset and my doors locked and unlocked, recently when starting it goes dead for a second than I try again and its good, thought maybe starter was going so I replaced it, same issue, tonight while driving my doors locked and unlocked, tested and check battery and alternator, all good. Now before commenting I have done some research and im seeing that I may need to do the big 3 upgrade, has anyone else had this issue and if so did you do the grand Cable fix and its ok now?
