Hello. 

New to the GM truck forum here, however, not new GM trucks or forums. 

 

I've owned several GM products with beds in the past (some pictured) and even some F*%D products (I won't post those).

 

Currently, I own a 2002 Silverado 2500HD with a 496 / Allison combo with 2wd. Took me a while to find one optioned like that, seem to have a rare truck. Bought it a little over a month ago and have been working on it since. I've lowered it a little (wish I could lower it more) painted the wheels, and done some other minor cosmetic stuff to it along with some small mechanical stuff that was neglected in the last month since I've got it. 

 

I plan on getting a tune for it to reduce the Torque Management mainly and want to have the baffle in the intake removed, that should free up some more HP. Any recommendations on both those?

 

Also,  been having this intermittent issue with the ABS and BRAKE light coming on randomly. Of course, when I hooked up a scan tool to it that was meant to read GM ABS codes I got nothing.. Seems to be a common problem on these trucks..

Welcome! If the HDs are anything like the half tons, the abs light could be from a front wheel bearing starting to go, the abs sensor is built into the "hub assembly" (?)

Thanks. It's possible I guess. My first guess was the module. Seems unless the ABS light is actually on I won't be able to get any codes..
