Clunk while driving

Hey all, recently took my 2015 5.3 Silverado 4x4 on a mild dirt road and began noticing a loud clunking noise coming from the rear end. I did have in 4 Hi but I regularly hear a similar noise when shifting from reverse to park and from 1-2 and from 2-1. Any ideas? Thanks

Sounds exactly like mine sounded. Ended up being the leaf spring making the noise. Are you saying it's only doing it in 4 high? If its lead springs it will be doing it all the time over any uneven surface or speed bump.

I would go to Les Schwab and ask them to "shake down" the rear end. Its a free service, and they will give you a detailed repair estimate that indicates what the problem is.
