Should I stick with 16" wheels?

I would like to buy a set factory "take off" wheels from someone local.

Should I stick with 16" wheels?    I have 6-lug 16" 245/75/16

What other size wheels can I replace my factory steel wheels with?

Intro:  Just got a 2002 Silverado 1500
(4.8L V8 Regular Cab 120k miles)
Interior is mint. Exterior is like a 9/10. (minor rust starting)
I just had the rear brakes and exhaust done.
What was a fair price to be paid for a truck like this?

Brand new to truck ownership and truck culture.
Will be keeping it stock, and using it as a basic "Home Depot & Junkyard" kind of truck for myself.
Looking forward to learning more about truck ownership.

Welcome aboard... I would stick w/ 16's - cheaper tires....

I have 18's on my truck from the factory but, if I could have had 17's I would have..

16s are starting to become more rare, but there are certainly still good tire options for them.

A 17” setup will be a little heavier, ride rougher, but handle corners more crisply.
