Hello all, I just joined tonight. I have a question to see if anyone else has run into this problem or maybe a complete solution would be nice. I have a 2015 3500 crew cab hd 4x4 with 55,000 miles, with the 6.0, and mated with the 6L90 transmission. I have a service bed on my truck. The truck says on the sticker that it weighs 13200lbs. I have about 1200lbs worth of tools. I had my trans go out 2 weeks ago. temp was at 245 on trans and slipping. I had it towed and they found the torque converter shredded and debris ended up in trans, and oil cooler.  The dealership rebuilt the tranny, and I guess ordered a torque converter, along with a radiator and an oil cooler with new lines. The guy said it was about a 6000.00 job under powertrain warranty. My question is that the transmission is still pulling hard shifts after about 2 weeks, temp has not gotten over 154 degrees, and is not slipping. Is this normal or do they need to adjust anything and am I overweight for the transmission? This is my first gas motor in a while as I have had diesel mostly. Can the 6L90 not take what my truck has. I am very caring to not floor it and am easy on it as I am an owner operator. If any of you have anything to add or know a fix, I would love to hear from you. I can't trade for a diesel at the moment so I need to make this truck work for me, if it was too heavy why would the dealers put a service bed on these already heavy trucks and by the time you add your tools you are supposedly overloaded or this is what the dealer that fixed my truck stated to me. Thanks for any help.
