Midnight8100- That's a pretty fine lookin' rig you have there. IMO the 8.1/6sp combo is pretty tough to beat. To tell you how hard the 8.1/6sp combo is to find, I looked at 20 dealerships in my area and I didn't find a single truck with a manual trans in the HD truck. I had to order mine, and it was the first ZF 6sp I had seen period. Good luck with yours. If you click on my user name (Engineer) at left, you should see a pic of my truck. Awesome looking truck. Glad to see a fellow two stick person in the forum we are a rare breed it seems. I still love the look of that massive 11.5 AAM axle hanging underneath the DMAX and 8.1 equiped trucks.
