It sounds goofy but knocking a Cummins is silly.A Cummins is badazz and that coming from a Dmax owner.If Dodge had a auto similar to the Allison I would be driving one.With simple mods those truck can out run a stock camaro and pull 30,000 lbs in the mountains.

I'm still looking for that 2004 camaro and can't seem to find it. Seriously I was at National Trails Raceway in Columbus Ohio and watched a Cummins 4x4 with 35 inch tires run a 12.90 and stomp a stock LS1 Z28.While I'm not a Dodge fan the cummins is a stout powerplant.

Here's a vid from a guy over at The Diesel Page with several Mustangs and one Firebird kill. He's running a juice chip and tranny mods on 285 tires, but not anything with new injectors or turbo yet. His best time is around 13 seconds in the ¼ at around 110 on straight #2 diesel, IIRC.

Ahh we have many trucks with Cummins motors. I wasn't making fun of them. We own a 24V cummins three 8.3 cummins one 210hp and the other 2 300hp. And four 400 Cummins in big trucks. Not to mention a Cummins in our Topsoil Shredder Powerscreen 4000. So yeah I think I have that whole Cummins motor thing covered.
