2018 silverado driver door ajar

Hi guys!!just took delivery of my new 2018 silverado ltz redline with 6.2. Really sweet truck. I dont hsve pics yet ill update in a bit. 

Im wondering if its normal to have the warning for the drivers door being open when it isnt and if anyone elses drivers window wont go down while the door is open. 

I was not expecting a couple issues first thing but im sure itl get sorted out soon. Thanks

When and how often does it do this.. Something is wrong..
Door open and key on. Windows should move.
There should not be a door open message with the door closed.

The fix that always seems to work is disconnect the battery for a half hour, and then see if the problem clears itself.

Thanks for thefast replies. Il try the battery in the a m.

It does it every time i get in and go,which has only been about 6 times since ive had the truck. (3 days). The last time i was driving for a cpl minutes then heard the door lock on my side,the door open msg was gone and the window worked. 

 

Il c if the battery disconnect works.if not il hit the dealership in a cpl days.

Well if it lasts the battery disconnect worked. I was only in and out of the truck about 4 times today but no issues with the window or door ajar msg.

You are very welcome, think it is the same principal as unplugging your computer (electronics) for a reboot.
