Nerf Bars

I am looking to get nerf bars for my truck and not sure which ones to get. I have been looking at DeeZee or Westin. I've heard that chromed stainless steel is the best so thats what I'm probably gonna go with. I was wondering what anyone else

has and how they like them and how well they have lasted. I have the factory molded mud flaps and would like to keep them on, so if anyone has the molded mud flaps and nerf bars please let me know which brand you have. Thanks for everyone's help.

I had an '00 Silverado excab 4x4 before I bought my current truck... I had the Westin CPS (chrome plated stainless) nerf bars on the truck with the factory molded flaps and they fit fine....

The reason I went with the Westin bars, is because of the lifetime warranty... and the fact that they were a good solid bar!!!

I had a set of the Back Country polished stainless steel bars on my ZR2 for about 3 years...sold 'em to another ZR2 owner in SC and he's as happy with them as I was!

I have WAAG wheel to wheel. Big plus', frame mounted (not body), aluminum steps not plastic/nylon. I myself got black as I'm not really into the chrome look. I've had them on for over a year. No creaking, only slight wear down of anodized black off the driver step, it's a daily driver after all.

I had the Westin CPS bars on my GMC. I recently changed to the Westin Oval bars, for the wider step area. Either way, Westin is a good company that makes quality products. They also communicate back to their customers and resolve problems when they arise. - Dave

I put the black anodized Westin's on my 2000 Z71 Silverado and have not had a problem yet. They are pretty solid, good quality and easy to install. No drilling.

Just talked to a guy over the phone at NFAB, and he quoted $449 for an ECSB (black powdercoat)

I was also looking at SmittyBilt Nerf Bars, I was wondering if anybody has any expierence with them or has heard anything good or bad about their products.Thanks for the great info.
