ABS .........AGAIN

went through the search and found the TSB for it

spent 3 hours this morning tearing down front wheels , down to the sensors

did all that was stated in the tsb

one sensor i need to look at is in the rearwheels

WHERE IS IT

anyone know where the rear abs sensor is located (exactly)

both front wheels had accumulated build up of metal shavings on the outside of the sensors

last night as i pulled in the driveway to stop , i almost hit the van in front of me

pedal went to the floor as it vibrated through the abs activation

wheels were pointed straight ahead , so its not the hub bearings

very frustrating

need to get this one behind me

iv'e got bigger fish to fry

I believe you need to be looking at the right-rear wheel if you're looking for an ABS sensor. Both sides in front are integrated into the wheel hub and right rear is for both rear wheels.

of all places its in the trans tailshaft??????????
