Grill Removal - Illuminated BowTie

Has anybody torn the grill out of a 2019 yet? I don't see any videos on You Tube anywhere.

I have the Illuminated Bowtie part to install... but the grill isn't like obvious to me how to remove. Repair instructions make it seem like it is just held in by 4 bolts up top and then a bunch of retainer clips. Remove the 4 bolts and then just give her a yank?

  Thank you VERY much to everybody in this thread. I have a 2014 Silverado Texas Edition & I've loved every second of it... until this ground issue came up. I'm losing the time & radio memory immediately if I set it up again & the G218 ground seems to be the most common issue. You mention the You Tube video was a great help, but I didn't notice a link to the particular video you watched. In doing a search, I can find several, but would certainly prefer finding the one your recommend. I'd sure appreciate any help finding that same one, if that's possible. Thank You! KirbyCo

  Ambient temp sensor is installed at the bottom of the grille shutter at the front of the truck behind the grille. That would not be the ambient air temp sensor. That would be the windshield outside moisture/ambient light and humidity sensor. Not the ambient temp sensor.

  We had a Buick Enclave with a sunroof leak. It had a water tray with drains that would grow some funk in them. Then the water would run out onto the floor and the mats would stink from the wetness. We figured out to use an air blower with a rubber tip to blow them out regularly. Open up the roof and stand on the seat you can see the holes in the corners.
