New Wheels

Bought a set of 4, 1 week old, NBS Caddy Escalade wheels to put on my '95 Tahoe. I have never seen a set on the OBS, have seen Silverado and Avalanche wheels on them though.

Also put on order a set of Goodyear AT/S LT265/70-17's they should be in on monday or tuesday. I will post some picture once they are mounted up.

This should drasitically change the look of the Tahoe and get rid of the squirmy ride I get from the current P series tires.

I went to the dealer to see if I could track down a set of Tahoe Limiteds for my 94', but they didn't know what I was talking about. Said he remembered seein' one once, but wasn't sure what wheels looked like. Quoted me like $400 a wheel for the basic Tahoes, so I'd be afraid to find out what they were askin' for the Limiteds.

There is a set of "limited" wheels over on e-bay with tires only bid up to $365 right now.

My Tahoe is a 4X4 so it is a 6 lug and they will bolt up. Heck even the stock center caps will snap into the Caddy rims. This is my next tough choice, Caddy caps (which came whith the wheels), '95 caps that I have with the fake lug nuts, or buy a set of smooth caps from the GMC's or later Chevys (96-98).

Well after 1 1/2 weeks the local shop is still unable to get my tires, they say that the only set that they can get is in Reno Nv and wanted me to pay an extra $18 per tire to ship them here. So I called a Goodyear dealer in another town and they will have them Fri and put them on Sat morning.

They wait is killing me, I want to see them on the Tahoe.

I would get the smooth caps. I am not a fan of the fake lug nuts on the older center caps. I replaced the caps of my '94 with the smooth caps.

I'm probably going with the caps I have for now (fake lugs) and see how it looks. Also going to borrow a couple of smooth caps from a freinds truck too see what they look like and probably keep my eye out to buy a set. I just can not bring myself to putting the caddy caps on.

I will definately post pics for everyone once I get them mounted up. I'm sure some of you are as curious as me.

There is a guy around town here with a black (OBS) Tahoe and the new Caddy rims on it.

Don't worry, it looks bada$$. :( He has the smooth center caps, not the fake lugs.

Hey you guys:

If any of you have a set of center caps with the fake lug nuts that are in very good condition, and you want to sell them, let me know. I might be interested in taking them off your hands.
