LT2 Console Question - Wiring

I bought an LT2 console from a scrap yard and cleaned it up like new for $140 to swap into my 09 Silverado 1500 to replace the jumpseat. I have a quick question for anyone whose done this before, how did you wire up your cigarette lighters? I noticed under the console it looks like there’s a female connector end to plug power into.

My jumpseat had the same plug under it powering the port in the lower base of the seat as the plug in the console.  Unplugged the jumpseat and plugged in the console.

Yeah I did the same thing about 2 weeks ago.  All I want to do now is move my USB from the dash to the USB port in the console and then make the dash port another 12 volt outlet.

That’s actually not a bad idea at all, now I want to do that too lol

Shouldn't be tough.  Just a USB extension cable and then another 12 volt socket.
