2004 SILVERADO LINEUP ?

I just checked out the chevy website and noticed some different stuff for the 2004 silverados.

First - there is a seperate Z-71 package? So, you cant get an "LS" ot "LT" with the Z-71 option? instead it will be similar to what they do with the tahoe?

Second - there is no more 1500hd?

yup...they are droppin' the 1500HD. All HD models will at least be 2500. The Z71 option thing I heard about a while back. Kinda dumb.

The 1500Hd is a 2500 any way.

Yep, the "1500HD" is now the "2500 Crew Cab". Later on in the year they will be selling a "1500 Crew Cab" which will have 6-lug wheels and a 5'3" bed. So midway through the year you will be able to get a true crew cab in 1500, 2500, 2500HD, and 3500 form.

 

Also new for 2004 you will be able to get a 3500 SRW.
