2015 USB ports no longer read media

2015 LT with 29k, Had a problem a year and half ago under warranty (dealer resolution attached) . hadn't had the problem again until yesterday, opened the door heard a buzzing sound coming from the speakers and all the presets where gone, but now the USB ports aren't recognized by the system. they will charge a phone.(I normally use the cigarette lighter, I plugged in just to check for power), this is the same for the SD Slot, both USB ports in the console AND same for the USB in glove compartment, Checked the fuse for the USB port and they are fine. It's going in for service Tuesday, hope they honor the warranty even though the 3 years is past..
