do y’all hear weird noise when cranking

just wondering do y’all hear any weird noises when y’all first start y’all trucks? cold start or warm, just wondering first time owning a 5.3 and wondering this night turn on my truck (cold start) i hear what i would best describe as a piece of metal hitting together and dropping to the floor, Lol yeah hard to explain. but i know the engine gets most it wear during first starting it up so could be no biggy just a huge hypochondriac lol.
