I have replaced the power steering pump on  my 2000 chevy tahoe 4x4 5.3 liter engine. While replacing the pump I broke off the EVO plug. I was told that GM  no longer sells this part but instead offers a Actuater kit to bypass this EVO. I put the kit  on my truck and I still have no power steering and it is almost impossible to drive or park or turn at slow speeds. Please tell me what else I need to check or if I needed to replace the  pump in the first place. The steering is the same when the problem presented itself as it is with all the work and parts I have put into it.  My pump has not whined or moaned at all during this whole process!!!!  What am I doing wrong or  missing I have asked the dealership and every auto parts store around. HELP!!!!
