headrest issue

2019 sierra denali………...most headrests can be reversed if they tilt too far forward by raising them all the way up and off and reinserting them back into the upper seat back rest...……..im a tall guy and the headrest is tilted a little too far forward for my comfort...…...this headrest has the 'release/change' button on the headrest,  not on the backrest......I can raise it all the way up or down but I cannot seem to get it off the backrest to reverse it...…….I have taken the headrest cover off  a little bit but cannot figure out how to get it released fully...…..anyone know how to do that ?   would I have to take the backrest apart ??    really don't want to do that unless there is no other way......I just cant seem to figure out how it was all put together...………….

You have to take off the plastic rings and then there is a 'release' lever.
