I have a 2014 sierra denali with factory nav and weather, currently on 3 month siruis trial. When I go to the weather app, it shows radar, but doesn't show the upcoming weather forecasts for my city, if I scroll over to a town 20 miles away, it works just fine.  I got from a dealership here in my city,and it worked then. I've tried calling Sirius and sending refresh signal several time but still have the issue. For some reason it will not show the upcoming forecasts for my city and several other smaller towns that are close by. Sirius told me that I would have to take it back to the dealership and have them upgrade something. Doesn't make sense to me. Could it be something with Sirius not receiving info from my area for the weather?
