torsion bar install from scratch

took truck apart but now not sure how to install torsion bars back. tried a bunch of times truck is either on the ground or so tight on the high side that there no travel in the saspention at all. can someone tell me how to install them from scratch? do the lines on the ends of the bars mean anything?

If I get back to my 02' I will photo the ends of the torsion bars as they sit in the keys.

 

I chalked my orientation and photo'd it when I did my control arm replacement a long time ago.  Super helpful.   When I eyeballed it, I got the control arm end not in the right spot.  
 

I think any similar orientation to a stock veh would work.   Your other problem will be setting z height right since you probably didnt write down how many threads are exposed on the adjuster.
