Recently upgraded the tires on my truck and look'n to sell the stock ones to anyone that may be interested. They are 255/70/16 General Ameri 660AS tires, and have about 60% or better of their life left (took them off at 22k).

Asking $100, or best offer.

What load range are they? I thought that they put 245's and 265's on stock? But if you say they are 255's I believe ya! Are they 6 or 8 lug?

Do you have the center caps and are they extra?

Thanks,

Matt

You are right on the tire sizes. The 245's come stock on the 2WD models, and the 265's come stock on the 4WD models. The exception being is that there is an upgrade option (at least on the 2WD model like my truck) that you can upgrade the tires to 255/70/16.

I couldn't find any specs on the load rating, but I assume they are equal to the other stock tires that GM puts on their trucks since they came with them from the factory. In regards to the questions on lugs and center caps...I am only selling the tires, not the rims.

If still interested, post back or email me and we'll work something out.

Still got these if anyone is interested. I was hoping they'd be gone by now so I'd have a little more space in the garage. Am I asking a fair price? Just curious.

Sorry for the delay in getting the pictures posted. But nonetheless, here they are:

First time I've posted any pictures on this forum, so let me know if there are any problems seeing them properly. And someone make me a deal so I can get these out of my garage! I'll even give them a much needed bath prior to selling. :D

Can you find out shipping to Westerville, OH 43081. Or give me an idea of weight?

Any nicks / discoloration in the WOL? Any more / less wear to the inside / outside tread? Can you measure the depth of the tread?

Thanks!

It looks like Airborne Express can get them to you via ground delivery for about $20 per tire. That is about 1/2 what UPS and Fed-Ex is wanting, so sounds like a good deal.

In regards to the lettering, yes it is in good condition. The tires have 22k miles on them so it's not in perfect condition but good by all means. Wear on the tires is fairly even. I might note that 1 of them has more tread as it was my spare (the real dirty one in the picture). And yes, I will try to measure the tread. Been looking for a regular old ruler to do so. I might have to run to the store and buy one. Once I do I'll snap a pic for you with the ruler up next to the tread.
