K5 concept

does anybody know what happened or is happening wih this concept. I would love to see this go into production. Slap the 2003 front-end on that bad boy and I would be in line to buy one.

Looks like the current Tahoe/Suburban tailights to me. I saw this concept on Car&Driver TV back in 2001, but haven't heard anything about it since. John Moss talked about it on that show and said they were seriously considering production on it, but so far I haven't seen anything else to indicate that is happening. Hope it does though.

My wife and I have been wanting one of these since we first saw the pictures over a year ago. I don't know what happened to it but as long as they keep the '03/'04 front clip OFF of it, I will definately look into buying one.

I don't see why they couldn't make it. Quite frankly it's a WBH Avalanche w/ the back doors shortened. I mean, it theoretically would share a lot of the desing components w/ the avalanche if they produced it.

I like the idea but the dimensions looks a little goofy to me. I rather have one without the extra doors and maybe move the rear axle forward a little. I know this would hurt departure angle but it looks a little funny without anything behind the rear wheels.

I personally like to see the K5 be another 2 door Tahoe, like the older K5 Blazers.

it looks like they did to the tahoe what they did to the sub to get the ave. don't think i like it too much.

Sorry guys, but that thing is ugly! Get rid of the extended cab part and make it like a true K5 used to be like and it will look more pleasing to the eye.
