gear change

i have a 92 gmc 1/2ton 4x4 pickup. i just broke the rear ring and pinion last night on my way home from school. i would like to change the gear ratio from the 3.42 it is right now. i would like to put 3.73 gears in it but i cant find anyone that sells the matching ring and pinion for the front also. do any of you guys know where i can get them or what type of differential it is so i can continue my search. any help would be great. thanks

Might want to try Drive Train Specialist, or Drive Train Direct. Those are a few to start. Also search on Google. I some times get a magazine and look at the adds and see if they have a toll free number to call and ask all kinds of questions, plus look them up on line.
