Color Question

I'm looking to buy a new Tahoe. I want to get a 2003 due to the better pricing/incentives. Unfortunately, the vehicle configuration I want, a non-Z71 4x4 with a 4.10 axle, is rare--at least around here. The two trucks that my dealer can find are Green--Dark Green Metallic.

 

What do you guys think of this color? Sometimes I see it and I like it and other times I see it and I think it's tacky.

 

If anyone who owns a truck this color has thoughts (pro or con), I'd like to hear them.

My truck has an '02 color called Forest Green metallic, which I really like. I had a '95 that was Emerald Green metallic and it was about the same. Except this Forest Green Metallic appears to have really bright green sparkles in it when its clean, kind of looks like a lime green sparkle. It doesnt look too bad dirty either. I like the dark greens and that dark blue color Chevy had last year or the year before. Whats up with some of the colors this year, I have seen a truck that looks like a tan goldish color, kind of like sand, and I see someone in my area has bought a Z71 that looks Pink????? What is that color, it looks about like that Rasberry they used to have except darker!!!! I bet you will like the Green after you get it!

How can you really argue Pro/Cons of a paint color? It is entirely a matter of personal preference. That being said the Dark green is one of my favorite colors.

I have an 02 Sierra in Polo Green. As the screen name says it is a "Worktruck". I love the color but it shows every scratch. You can clean it up with a color cure wax but they come back in a couple of weeks. Luckily not many are thru the clearcoat. But the color is way

Thanks for the replies to what is really a subjective matter of taste. Is the GMC "Polo Green" the same exact color as the Chevy "Dark Green Metallic"?
