When engine is started the wheels turn to the left

I have a 2002 Avalanche 1/2 ton, when the front end is off the ground and the engine is started the wheels turn to the left. Obviously this causing the truck to pull to the left while driving. It's in the shop right now waiting for an alignment, I have had the alignment checked in the last, no problems were found. Do you have any suggestions?

It's not the alignment. It's almost certainly the steering gear box.

Update-just like we all thought, it wasn't the alignment, it was the steering box. They called me late tonight, so I will pick it up on the morning.
