6.0 vortec swap on 5.3

hey, so i have this 2006 Chevy silverado 1500 with the 5.3 and i recently i did a 6.0 vortec max swap on it and i noticed that once i step on it it picks up but when it gets  to 4500-5000rpm it stays there and doesn't change gears until you let go of the gas. I have replace the Maf sensor 3 times and i cant get it to work, by any chance does anyone know what the cause could be. Thanks

Something in the transmission cable linkage sticking? Can't remember if those are throttle by wire or not

If you have a decent scanner, check for codes stored. Ahead of that, check TPS output and MAP sensor. Either can cause delayed shifting like you're experiencing. The 4l60, since `94, has been completely computer controlled, so it's shifting control is dictated entirely by the PCM under normal operating conditions.
