1997 chevy blazer ball joints replacement

so I am trying to save three hundred dollars and replace the upper n lower ball joints on my 4x4 97 blazer so what tools do i need for those rivets on the lower ones and the rest of this job.

Drill the head off the rivets, then punch them out. If both upper and lower are riveted in, then no other special tools are needed, iirc

 

If one is press fit, then you can "rent" a ball joint press from parts stores. Just remember the lower arm is under tension keep it supported
