Washer fluid pump won’t shut off 2007 Sierra classic sle 5.3

With truck off washer fluid pump won’t shut off.  I have replaced control switch and pump still same issue any input?

With the truck turned on, does it work properly with the control on the turn signal lever?

 

And you'll want to unplug it until you figure out the fix, as the pump will die fairly quickly if it runs with an empty reservoir.

everything works properly on the turn signal lever (new).  I have the relay disconnected so the motor dose not run constantly.  As soon as I plug the relay back in the motor starts running again.  I am wondering if I have a short somewhere?

maybe first try swapping the relay with another one and seeing if it works properly then.  After, yes, then it's probably a wiring problem somewhere.
