Gear question

OK so I bought all this stuff from Power Train truck and auto parts:

-8.25" IFS 4.10:1 OEM GM gears

-Front Master overhaul kit

-8.5" 10 bolt 4.10:1 OEM GM gears

-Rear MOK for eaton

-Eaton posi LSD

-new axle seals and bearings for rear

-two bottles of friction modifier

-6 quarts of gear lube

total to my door: $970

 

Here's the problem: They sent an 8.6" ring and pinion set for the rear. The one in there now is 8.5". I know the newer trucks use an 8.6" ring gear, but will it fit in my housing and work with my eaton posi designed for an 8.5" ring gear?
