2007 LT rattling noise.

The issue first started in morning when my truck was hard shifting from 1st to 2nd. It lasted for about 6 stop and goes. On the 6th I had a very brief stabilitrack disabled warning light up then it went away. No hard shifting or anything after. Now a few days later while I’m turning and accelerating I hear and rattle coming from what sounds like the front end. There is also a slight shake to the steering wheel. Any ideas on what it could be or where to start would be greatly appreciated. It goes away when I start to get into higher gears or just driving straight. Possible differential issue?

Beau,

You could have a few issues.  The noise on turns could be worn out CV joints.  The shaking during your acceleration could be a few things.  Have your alignment checked and again it could be damaged inboard/outboard CV joints, or your inboard CV assembly is sticking.  Anytime I think of vibration I always recommend checking tires and alignment cause they are easiest fixes. Hope this helps.
