Strange 02 Escalade Electrical Issues

Hi all, I purchased a 02 Escalade and I am having some strange electrical issues.

 

Initially when I would drive the car the rear wiper would jump on its own. I fixed this by cleaning the grounding cables from the battery to the left front radiator support.

 

Now, when I insert the ignition key, the drivers seat will move to a random position, the side view mirrors will do the same. Also the fuel gauge will intermittently show the amount of fuel in the tank with the key to on, but always when does when the truck is started. Also, I can made language changes on the DIC, bu I am not able to change any settings for the truck.

 

Is this another grounding issue?If so which one? or is this a Instrument Panel or BCU problem.

The ignition key seat moving is memory seats.

The not being able to change settings means you probably have a bad unit. Those in the 2002 trucks were in a bad place near the upholder anyways
