2003 Gmc Sierra Door locks

Please help. My 2003 GMC Sierra which has auto locks but not auto windows and no key fob is having issues.  It started with passenger door but now both doors. The only ways to unlock and open door is to either hold key to right and then pull handle on out side or on inside hold lock open with one hand and pull inside door handle with other. Any guidance would be great or if you dealt with this yourself please let me know. Thanks

Clips they sell by the pack at any parts store.

You'll have to take off your door panel and plastic sheet underneath to get at the connection point of the rod(s) that clip together with an L shaped piece of often brightly colored plastic.

It's about the size of a jelly bean.

They can brake or come apart on their own.
