2008 gmc fuel mileage droping

ok my 2008 used to get 16.3 mileage on the average now its down to 14.7 .put on scanner it reads something different every time using a snap on top of line scanner said all plugs misfiring then the next time low fuel pressure any Ideas. put new fuel press sensor plugs help im old school mechanic

  This guy is a custom engine builder, both diesel and gas. He recently posted this vid of a tear down of an L8T for rebuild. Seems to like a lot of what he sees We Tore Down GM’s Biggest Gas V8… Here’s What We Found It's a bit of a long video, bottom line it's a very well built engine but in this case, excessive heat in the rear cylinders can be a problem.

  The wiring from the truck system to the Orion should be the only truck connection to the camper unless you are intending to be able to charge the truck from the camper. To do that with proper control you would want manual switching - not an isolator. Assuming you are not trying reverse charge, the Orion acts as an isolator preventing reverse charging through its input wires so you don’t need or want an additional isolator. You should consider installing larger positive and negative charging wiring from the truck battery to the Orion, and locate the Orion as close to your camper battery as practical. I have an Orion 12/12-30 30 amp charger, and I ran 6 awg wires for the entire run. The engine running detection logic prevents charger cycling at 30 amps with a 30 foot wire run between the truck battery and the charger. You would want 4 awg if you want to take advantage of the Orion XS’ full 50 amp capability.
